December 2010 Letter to Our Customers

Dear Loyal Customers,
As the holiday season approaches, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for an excellent 2010. By continually improving and expanding our service offerings and focusing on our customers’ environmental needs, we have experienced a year of growth. 2010 was marked by our involvement in several large projects, introduction of new services and the addition of more facilities.

EQ played a key role in assisting with oil spills in the Gulf of Mexico and the Kalamazoo River in Michigan. For both spills, we provided personnel, equipment and expertise to assist in the clean-up efforts with the goal of restoring and protecting the environment from further damage. We also had continued success with large remediation projects, including the New Bedford Harbor Project in Massachusetts, the Maywood Superfund site in New Jersey and a remedial clean-up for a retail client.

Keeping with our trend of always striving to provide our customers with the newest and most innovative services offerings, we launched new product lines and expanded our existing services throughout the year. We introduced the EQ Thermal Desorption Unit at our Belleville, MI facility which allows us to provide our customers a unique recycling service. We also became DEA permitted to pick-up, transport and dispose of pharmaceutical wastes. Combined with the addition of our C3 and Retail Waste Solutions Programs, EQ dramatically expanded our offering to the retail industry.

In addition to our new service offerings, we were happy to add four new locations to our EQ family this year. We added EQ Ohio, EQ Pennsylvania and EQ Illinois in May, solidifying our role as the leader in waste treatment services in the Midwest. In August, we added EQ Oklahoma, which continues our expansion and presence in the western United States. The addition of these new locations brings us to a total of twenty four of the highest quality service, treatment, disposal and recycling facilities in the nation. We are pleased to have the new customer base that the acquisitions brought in and look forward to building strong and prosperous partnerships with each of you.

We look forward to continuing our growth as a company and providing you with the highest quality environmental services in the industry. In the coming year, we will remain focused on providing each of you with the wide range of environmental service solutions and excellence in customer service you have come to expect from our company.
