EQ Responds to Hurricane Sandy

Within hours after Hurricane Sandy came ashore and devastated parts of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast United States, EQ crews were on the scene helping our customers. EQ’s Terminal Services division based in New Jersey was able to immediately assist our petroleum and chemical terminal customers on the Eastern Seaboard. This included emergency response, removal and treatment of contaminated products and wastewaters as well as transportation and disposal of hazardous waste. EQ’s Emergency Response team has responded to many retail store locations to clean up and remove hazardous waste and debris, along with impacted pharmaceutical waste. We are also removing, transporting, treating and disposing of all types of hazardous wastes, non-hazardous wastes and wastewaters generated as a result of Sandy.
