Over the last 12 months, EQ became DEA permitted in 43 states to pick-up and transport pharmaceutical wastes. EQ also has one of the few RCRA permitted DEA registered reverse distribution pharmaceutical waste handling facilities in the industry at our EQ Detroit location. We now have the unique ability to pick-up as well as manage our customers non-hazardous, hazardous and controlled substance pharmaceutical waste streams.
EQ’s pharmaceutical program is a convenient and cost effective way for our customers to comply with the strict regulations on the disposal of pharmaceuticals. EQ can classify pharmaceutical waste utilizing our expertise and technology in the same way as hazardous material waste classification. Most importantly, the entire program is done in full compliance with regulatory requirements for documenting, shipping, handling and tracking.
