XCEL Energy, a utility supplier of electric power and natural gas services in the upper Midwest, recognizes and awards a select number of its customers who have achieved exceptional energy efficiency the previous year. EQ received this award because of its numerous pumps, closed circuit cooling towers and rotary positive displacement blowers all working off of VFD’s (variable frequency drive). In addition to the award, EQ also received a large rebate through XCEL Energy’s VFD efficiency rebate. Efficiency pays!
