We’ve heard your comments about our approvals process and in response EQ has developed a new and improved interface that offers simplified approval paperwork, waste stream specific profile templates and streamlined sample requirements. The redesigned system was launched in December, 2012 and is enabling customers to achieve faster turnaround time for approvals.
The site now offers easier to find categories, new search options for our customers to access pertinent regulatory and business information, and an updated look and feel. The biggest change is the availability of new user-friendly Waste Profile Templates for many of our commonly accepted waste streams (sandblast, plating filter cake, hazardous debris, paint related material, etc.). These templates are designed for you to download, complete a short subset of questions, sign and submit for approval quickly and easily.
Other changes include EQ’s new Waste Profile Form, making it more efficient with the removal of redundant questions and the addition of frequently asked questions, special handling requirements and CFR references. The Re-Approval, Amendment and Price Confirmation Forms have each been consolidated to allow multiple approvals from all EQ facilities on the same form, requiring fewer signatures. Finally, in order to improve the time it takes to approve your waste streams, we have relaxed our sample requirements.
